LGBTQ+ saying

LGBTQ+ students at LMH

Whether you are sure and open about your gender and sexuality or whether you are not – Oxford is a great place to explore who you are and there are many resources available at Oxford and further afield to help you.

At LMH we are all part of the same community, and everyone is welcome. No exceptions. We aim to be a community in which every person can flourish and as you start out on your adult life to begin the journey of being the best and most authentic version of yourself.  You should feel safe here to be that person and supported in your identity.

We have JCR and MCR LGBTQ+ reps. The most updated place to the current JCR Officers’ details can be found on the ‘LMH JCR’ Facebook page in the group description, so when the Officers change, you’ll be able to find their names there.

And remember if you do experience discrimination of any kind we hope you would feel comfortable to raise it with someone in the Welfare Team, your tutor or someone you feel you can trust.
